History/Background Information: 100 Pound Pretoria issue of the ZAR government (Gouvernements Noot). Issued against the security of state owned farms with a 6% interest. Hand signed by the Auditor General (JS Marais) and Treasurer General (NS Malherbe). Dated 28.5.1900.
 
Condition Notes: Variety with spade border and with "NO" in the serial number. Cancelled with the rectangular shaped C.J.C stamp. An impressive example, untouched and crisp. Retaining all the bold characteristics of the type and in true uncirculated condition. A beautiful note with an incredible history.
