This PCGS Registry #1 collection was the finest assembled collection of Bristish and Commonwealth sovereigns and was sold over a number of months by Heritage Auctions of the United States in 2020. The former owner of the collection placed great emphasis on a coin's technical quality and as a result the collection contained famed rarities in absolute top grade. Included in this collection was the 1923SA Sovereign PCGS MS66 which fetched $52,600 in the same sale.
