History/Background Information: George V 1 Penny series struck between 1923 - 1936 in the Union of SA. First year of issue in very rare Red Brown coloration designation.

Condition Notes: An immense coin given the handful of coins to be preserved in Red Brown coloration for the year. Wholly struck and drapped in flawless hourglass lustre. Rich mint red original fields interrupted with only a smattering of brown hues. With only 8 coins out of a total of 660 (1.2%) graded by NGC achieving RB this coin represents a rare and seldom found opportunity to acquire such a coin. A very rare find.
