History/Background Information: A scarce series issued between 1892 and 1897. Struck at the ZAR mint in Pretoria.

Condition Notes: A choice exmaple of the scarce 1895 shilling. Attractively toned and exhibiting only the slightest hint of rubbing/wear. Very few surviving in this state of preservation with the grading population shrinking significantly above this point.
