An astounding selection of 18 highly-rare and collectable South African banknotes featured at the recent Heritage Auctions FUN World Currency Signature Auction held in Orlando, Florida. Amongst the lots are possibly unique notes some of which have not been offered for sale in decades. Overall these 18 notes brought in a total of $50,280 which equates to approx R775,000 highlighting the strong demand for the rarest pieces of South African currency.
